Spock had a great career including winning the Open Sable and White class at the Collie Club of America National in 2000.  Spock sired 4 litters for Gentry's and Tercan Collies and his kids and grandkids did him proud in the conformation and performance rings.
 
We lost Spock in June of 2007.  After refusing dinner and panting unusually, he was at the vet's office and x-rays revealed cancer metastasized in his lungs.  A ruptured tumor was also suspected on the liver or spleen causing anemia.  That afternoon, the heart wrenching decision was made to let him go.  Just the weekend before he was chasing the ball and running with the others like normal.  I still can't believe he is gone.
